SCAD Libraries Student Art Contest - Winners  

The results of SCAD Libraries’ Student Art Contest are in!

The Libraries are pleased to announce Nguyen H. Tran as the 1st place winner. Nguyen is a Graduate Student in Savannah, majoring in Illustration and received a $100 gift certificate to Dick Blick Art Materials. The design will grace the front of the official printed bookmark, available in the Libraries soon.

Join us in also congratulating Daniel Velasco (Savannah, Graduate, Illustration) for taking home the 2nd place prize, and 3rd place winner Angela Wong (Hong Kong, Sophomore, Animation). Daniel and Angela won a $75 certificate to Dick Blick Art Materials and a $50 Octopus card, respectively. All three winning designs were chosen for their visual excellence and for communicating the value of SCAD Libraries in unique and appealing ways.

Thanks to everyone who submitted designs for this year’s contest, and to judges Andrew Davies (Lead Creative Juicer, Paragon Design, Savannah), Michele Estep (Cataloging Librarian, Jen Library, Savannah), and Jessica Hodges (Circulation Assistant and Work Study Coordinator, Jen Library, Savannah).
