Finding and Using Video: Find DVDs

This is not an exaustive list, but it can help you browse if you don't have a specific title in mind.

Find:

1. Search for DVDs through the Catalog Plus search box using keywords such as
   film title, genre, director, cast names, etc. Then limit your content type to "film" and select your Library Location*
   
   
2. Use the Classic Catalog to do an advanced search. Type in your keywords,
   then select "Video/DVD" in the Material Type dropdown menu, and select your library Location.*

Borrow:

Some DVDs need to stay in the library, but most can be taken home. (see DVD Collections below)

 *DVDs cannot be requested from other campuses through inter-SCAD loan.

Circulating DVD Collection

What: DVDs that say "Circulating DVD Collection" under the "location" column.
Where: Library Circulation Desk.
Borrow: Write down the DVD call number and go to the circulation staff for help. Borrow for 4 days with no renewals.

Permanent Reserve DVDs

What: DVDs that say "Circulation Desk" under the "location" column.
Where: Library Circulation Desk.
Borrow: Write down the DVD call number and go to the circulation staff for help. For in library use only.
