Art History and Culture in Context
This session provides an introduction or refresher on cultural research basics and art historical resources. Resources covered in-depth will include JSTOR and the library catalogs. Students will learn to optimize and refine searches as well as how to select appropriate sources and identify scholarly sources. (Recording)

This session provides an introduction or refresher on business and statistical research. Resources covered include Business Source Premier, Euromonitor, D&B Hoovers, Nexis Uni, and more. Students will learn to strategically search key platforms. Students will also encounter the functions of and differences between popular, trade, and scholarly sources and how to utilize statistical databases to inform business and market research. Luxury and Brand Management and Fashion Management
This session introduces business-specific resources for luxury and fashion industries. Resources covered will include WGSN, Euromonitor, Statista, Business Source Premier, and WARC. Students will learn to locate fashion-specific databases and strategically search key platforms. Students will learn the functions of and differences between trend forecasting platforms, fashion periodicals, and databases. (Recording)
Fashion
This session provides students with an introduction or refresher on basic fashion resources provided by SCAD Libraries. Resources covered in-depth will include WGSN and Berg Fashion Library. Students will be shown how to create WGSN accounts. Students will also be introduced to Research Guides and shown how to view fashion-specific databases through the database list. (Recording)
